door locks
I have a problem with my doors not locking and unlocking most of the time. I am not positive but seems like I read on hear once before about some relays for the door locks. If that is the case can someone tell me where they are at and they think that might be the issue with my vette. Any help would be great.

OP, are you having the problem only from the driver side switch or with the passenger switch too? If you use a FOB is it also having the same issue?
The relays normally work or don't but you could be having switch contact issues to cause your issue or the lock motors may be the issue. Do you have any experience in simple electric activities for diagnostics?

It really does not matter which door I try from or if I use my key fobs. Sometime one will unlock and sometime both will or maybe neither will work. Thanks all of the help.

Just to see what happens, open the driver's door and grab the black plastic accordion tube and give it a good shake. Then see what you're locks do. If they work a while, post back and I'll post a link to a Bill Curlee fix.

Most door lock/unlock issues are due to a failing door control module. Pull the module of the door who's locks are not working properly and send it out to absfixer.com.
