Traction Control: Diagnostic Code 28-TCS "C1214"
This is an intermittent malfunction. Meaning, I don't get the message every time I drive the car. Who has experienced this issue, had the same code displayed on the Driver Information Center when accessing the Diagnostic Display Mode and what is the proper order/method of locating the problem and repairing the issue?

As mentioned there are numerous threads regarding this common fault. It can usually be repaired by ABS Fixer or yourself. There are 3 to 5 solder joints on a board inside the EBCM that need re-sweating, or perhaps the relay attached needs to be replaced.

I had to re-sweat 3 of 5 pictures solder connections. Problem intermittently began around 26000 miles then got worse to constant. It has worked flawlessly since repair for several years.
