Built and installed a 383 in my 04 Corvette, AFR 215 V2 cylinder heads with 60.5 cc chambers, Fast 102 both massaged by Tony Mamo, 4.160 Cometics .040, Nick Willams DBW 102 TB, Mahle pistons .004 out, race honed, balanced, parallel decked and assembled with ARP main and head studs, Crane billet adjustable timing set, 42# Bosch injectors, Fast fuel rail, hand fabricated custom carbon fiber air bridge, Mamo .614/.617 227/231 Comp cam on Crane 1.8 shaft rockers (.650/.653) SCR 11.6:1, machined prepped by Tom Stamey. Meticulously built by me; initial results after my son performed some computer magic: 532WHP/487WTQ through full exhaust with cats, automatic built by me, Yank SS3200 converter. Nice work, sounds like a fun setup. I have the same torque converter. It's a good one for street/strip, but unfortunately it's what's holding me back at the strip now. It will only allow a 1.7xx 60' no matter the power and weight reduction I do. Moving up to a 3800 whenever I get the chance.
Always wanted to increase displacement. Hopefully someday!
