Valve cover baffling

Valve cover baffling
Is there any way to add some baffling to the valve covers? I would stand to think that adding baffling would reduce/eliminate the problem of oil getting into the PCV valve pipes. Any ideas? I am going to pull the valve covers off and see if I can fab some sheet metal baffles tonight.

Hrmm You know I really didnt know that. :rolleyes: I guess the fact that the PCV problem stems from inadequate baffling in the valve covers would lead me to correct this problem. My whole post was to correct the problem within the valve covers not if they had baffling or not.

If you want to fix the issue, get the LS6 valley cover. No need to worry about valve cover baffles any more. I've tried a vacuum pump PCV setup on an LS1 and modified baffles to keep it from sucking too much oil, and it was just a lost cause. If you are serious, do the ls6 valley cover and be happy.
