Hey all, I'm currently running a custom Nos system in my car with a WOT switch as well as a 3200 RPM window switch. I finished the bottle up this past weekend and took it back in for a refill today. (there was 400lbs of pressure left in it) The car sat in the garage for about 30 minutes with the door open so the car was at operating temperature if not a little warmer. When I got it hooked back up I took it out for a run and found that it no longer worked. The purge switch still works fine but the No2 never engages. With pressure in the lines, I closed the bottle and went for another quick pass. Under normal circumstances, I would expect the pressure to start to fall but it stayed constant which told me that nothing was leaving the lines.
I checked the obvious things ie. the lines and connections and all appeared to be in order. At this point, I'm just looking for some suggestions like "bad solenoid" or "electronic problem" as I'm not too sure where to troubleshoot next. I'll probably take it to one of the local shops tommorow and have them take a look at it. Thanks for any suggestions.

I had the same kit as you...you shouldn't be leaving the bottle open when your not using it. Did you use teflon paste on the main bottle fitting? You shouldn't have, just use the plastic washer they gave you. That's the only part on mine that leaked...other then one of the solenoids, I ad to get a new one.

I always make sure to close the bottle when I park it and make also make sure there is no pressure in the lines. I didn't install it so not sure about teflon paste.

You probably got an electrical problem.
Disconnect the solenoid and attach a test light, run the wire inside the car so you can watch it. That way you can go driving and try to activate it without really activating it.
If you have a WOT switch it may have malfunctioned. Check that out.
My NX express WOT switch was bad right out of the box.
Also check your ground. Maybe it came loose.
I also had a solenoid go bad once. Lucky for me it was the purge. Thing wouldn't open up. That was Nx Express as well.

Hey Superj
where you times in your sig on N2O???
Hey Jmon, I haven't had a chance to run it at the track yet or dyno it with the juice. Once it's working again I'm anxious to get some new numbers. Looking for a high 11 but I think that may be a little too ambitious on run flats. We'll see. I'll post up when I get to go out.

You could also check a bolt on the back of the bottle, lit a large set screw. Mine leaked from there, I tightened it alot and it slowed down alot and eventually went away.

Well here's an update. I ws taking the car back to the tuner that installed it to look at it and on the way I tried it out again just for the heck of it. I was about 10 miles from the shop and it worked....So I think cool. I hit it about 3 times and the car pulls strong. I turn the bottle off and hit it again to make sure the pressure in the lines was being used. It was. All looks to be well again.
I get the car back to my side of town and try it again. Doesn't work again.. Crap.
I guess at this point it's one of two things.
1) When it worked the car had been on the highway and was relatively cool as it was morning. When I got it back home and tried it I had been through a few stop lights and the engine bay was considerably warmer when it didn't work. Heat sensitive solenoids??
2) Something like the WOT switch or window switch is loose. I suspect this is the issue which I hope to corner soon.
