A few weeks ago I purchased the 1 3/4" super pro headers from LG. During installation I noticed the headers didnt have a mounting tab to mount to the bellhousing. I figured it was supposed to hang unmounted since there was no way to attach it. When I started the car everything underneath vibrates and shakes. I can feel the vibrations throughout the car.
Question: Is that how its supposed to be? Design change perhaps? I've seen pics on the web of the super pro headers with a mounting tab welded on for bolting to the bellhousing. Here is a pic of the headers at the bellhousing on my car.
Anyone else missing these mounting tabs on their LG super pro 1 3/4" headers?

they don't have the tabs anymore, I think they were removed because it was a stress point and was causing the tabs to break at the welds... I remember reading something along those lines years ago before I bought mine... I bought mine about 4 years ago and there is no tab but I don't have any vibration issues either... did you check the clamp connections and the header bolts?... the clamps they provide aren't the best, I changed mine out to lap band clamps when I put them on... something like these will work great, http://www.jegs.com/i/Dynomax/289/33272/10002/-1
I've got the super pro 1 7/8 that I had ceramic coated before installing them a few years back. You can see in the pic on the right header it has the tab your talking about. I've had them installed for awhile so there a few years old but still great headers IMO. Hope this helps
