Noise when Steering
I keep having this steering noise, not sure where it is coming from as I cannot pinpoint it, though it seems like the rack?
Anyone ever hear this before? It generally happens when I initially turn the when, then when I go to turn it another direction.
I have taken the tires off, the noise will not happen with the wheels off the ground. I have looked at all of the ball joints and they all appear fine without any play or grinding.

It is hard to tell without being there but it sounds more like something in the column not the rack.
What does it sound like from the engine compartment? I would think that would help tell you more about where it is at.
