Default Y2K Footwell Lights not working (HELP)

Footwell lights are not working. It's not the #29 fuse, checked that. Trunk lights all work. Any ideas?

Probably not much help, but it takes 12v and a ground to light the light. I'd measure to see which is missing and trace back toward the source of each. I don't have a diagram, so I can't be of much help. If the trunk lights come on when you open the door, you've eliminated a lot of stuff. My very first step would be to switch out a new bulb and then measure for the two items I mentioned.

Any one have any other suggestions. Thinking of just running a lead from the trunk lights which seem to work just fine.

If the ground is missing, running a lead from the trunk lights won't help. Do you have a voltmeter/ohmmeter?

Then I can't be any help. You didn't answer whether the trunk lights come on when you open the door. If they do, the door switch has to be working. If they only come on when you open the trunk, you may have an issue in the door area. Sorry I couldn't help.
