I have Pfadt SA Featherlights on my 01 C5. Lately, I began to hear/feel every crack, frost heave or general road defect. I had not adjusted them as of late. Upon inspection I found that the driver side front had lost its ability to adjust (adjuster turns now without clicking) and is stuck at what appears to be its stiffest setting. Turning adjuster full soft or full tight makes no difference....it remains harsh. There are no obvious signs of leaks, it seems like whatever attaches to the adjuster **** inside has separated.
So.....I cannot make heads or tails with regards to Pfadt. They ARE, ARE NOT in business. They have a functioning, high tech web page with old news of the closure. Then I hear that AFE picked up Pfadt? But the pickings on their web site are slim.
I hear FEAL can rebuild either SA or DA at $200/each. Can't find any used or otherwise online or eBay. Can I keep my rears, and move on to another type/brand up front (LG or....)? Or is that a no go? Any comments?

you could try to get in touch with afe and see if they can rebuild them, send them to feal, or sell them... I had a brand new set of featherlights and one had a leak... pfadt went under right after I got them and noticed the leak so I sent it to feal to be resealed and then I sold them
I called aFe last week and spoke to the "pfadt guy". They are in a transition phase. Basically aFe needs to learn the product, and manufacturing is beginning.
Give them a call and ask to speak someone about pfadt products.
They couldn't give me warm a fuzzy about their coil overs so I called ECS and got a set of RideTechs.
Guess I need to speak to the "Pfadt guy" at aFe too. I've had a set of probably first gen coil-overs for a year now and have not installed them due to some missing and worn bushings.
