Default Quick question on drilled/slotted rotors

This probably sounds pretty dumb, but how do you tell which one is driver side and which one is for the passenger side? Or does it even matter?

To phrase it in another way: when installed, the slot at the top of the rotor should be sloping from rear of the car to the front or vice versa?

Front of car \ Rear

or

Front of car / Rear

I have seen forum member's cars with them installed both ways.

Thanks!

They are direction-specific. Look at the pic below of my Baer rotor. It still had the sticker on it indicating the side it's mounted on.

Calipers are dedicated to one side as well. So, if you completely dismount them, make sure they go back on with the bleed port on TOP. Probably a good idea to mark them when you first pull them off. :yesnod:

Chrome backed pads? Doesn't the heat pose a problem?
