How do you remove the serpentine belt? Do you use a lever (screwdriver/crowbar) on the tensioner assembly? Is there some other magic?

I've made my own tensioner release wrenches by buying cheap flea market 13mm and 15 mm open end wrenchs, cutting them in half, and welding the useable end to a 1/2" rod 15"long. The length gives good reach for a lot of cars where the tensioner pulley is mounted low, plus it gives you a lot more leverage. Since these are so cheap, I carry them around in my other cars with the spare tire and the old belt that was previously replaced, but still intact. This will allow me to get up and running should I ever break a belt on the road. :yesnod:
