Key fob being forgotten
I thought I needed to change the battery in my factory fob, changed it, programmed it, worked immediately after but the car forgets it after I return X amount of time later. I can reprogram it with the same results. Seems really strange to me and the only thing I can think of is to buy a new fob. Thank you for reading.

A little info about your car either in the post or in your profile would go a long way to getting you some help. Like what year at least. Just because the C5's all look alike doesn'y mean that there were NOT changes by year.
