They are definaltely cheaper than factory. The rep I talked to said the only difference is a GM p/n on the wheel. Same weight, size etc.. Is this true? I am looking for any quality or performance issues thanks! :seeya
We sell reproduction chrome Z06 wheels. Nope... they are not made by Speedline. Our manu does, however, offers a 3 year chrome warranty and lifetime on the structure. Comparing apples to apples (chrome repro vs. chrome OEM) the repro's are a few pounds heavier. Keep in mind that OEM Z06 rims are not chromed from the factory. We sell painted repro Z06 rims as well... and yes, they are quite a bit cheaper than walking up to a Chevy parts counter. Structure wise they are just as strong as the OEM counterpart... save the 01 forged rim... but then I have YET to hear anybody causing or experiencing a structural failure on a repro... let alone an OEM in any year.
