Can anyone tell me if I have to pull the steering wheel off my 2000 just to replace the cheap plastic horn button under the airbag?
To make a long story short I got the common issue with my horn staying on after I went to use it. I replaced the membrane under it. When we pulled out the airbag to replace the membrane, the $5 plastic piece under it that gives the horn power broke at the plastic connector. It wont stay in place now and the horn is not getting power. I tried to super glue it in and it did work for a week then unglued. Can anyone tell me if the whole steering wheel has to come off just to replace this?
