Default LS1 Oil Pan question

I went and got my oil changed the other day and the guy who did it told me that I must have hit something on the road because the front lip of my oil pan was bent (curled back ) as if maybe I bottomed out and caught the ground or something, Well he said that it broke the gasket seal just enough to where the front of the pan where it meets the bottom of the engine is now leaking just enough to get the whole underneath of the pan all wet and its getting on the exhaust too, My question is, Are all LS1 oil pans interchangeable from 1997 to 2004?? My car is a 1999 with 160k on the odometer, Or is it worth it to get an aftermarket oil pan?

they are all the same design but some are one piece and some are 2 piece so you need to figure out which one you have first... I don't see how it could get bent without breaking or cracking, you might want to take a look at if yourself just to make sure

I agree with totally with Newtron. Cast Aluminum does not bend, it breaks.

The OP must have sent the film out for processing.
