1999 corvette check engine codes
p1518c-tac module
1016 loss pcm comm
u1000-no comm
any ideas, everything is pretty much working fine on the car except no traction control or abs. ive heard that could be from the tac module but the car runs fine, is there a way to test it?

I suggest that you clear ALL the codes then take the car for a nice ride and when you get back pull the codes BEFORE you shut off the engine. To pull codes with the engine running you need to use the reset key to clear any messages displayed in the DIC to get a blank screen and then pull codes as normal. Post back ALL the codes that have come back including the H or C or HC that follow each 5 character code.
Many codes that might show as C with the engine running will disappear or change to H after you turn off the engine.
As an FYI the shop manual does NOT indicate that the P1518 will cause or is related in any way to EBCM, TC or AH problems.
