Oil Catch can issue

If I have a vacuum leak on the oil catch can, could it causes a high NO level during CA smog test?. My NO level is twice as normal during my CA smog test and failed. .

It could make it run lean, but I would think you would throw a code.

Easy way to see if that is the issue, bypass it for the retest if everything else looks fine.

The problem is that I forgot how the original setup looks like. Currently I have a vacuum plug on the fitting at the back of the passenger valve cover and the front vacuum fitting is attached to my catch can inlet hose and the catch can outlet hose is attached to the TB. Does this sounds right?
