C6 clutch in a C5
ok, so here goes... installing a OEM Z06 C6 FW and clutch into my 04C5Z
Everything was going good until it was time to install the C slave cylinder.
I was told to use the C6 slave, what do i need to do? Will the C slave work? is there something else i need to do?
HELP PLEASE!!!

buy a new c5 slave cylinder, don't reuse the old one even if it looks ok... it's a $130 part and will save the you headache of removing the drivetrain again just to replace it... also add a remote clutch bleeder, that will make fluid changes a piece of cake... did you use an ls7 clutch?

good, the ls7 clutch is stronger and I believe the base clutch is no different than the stock junk... I had all sorts of trouble with mine shifting at high rpms until I changed it out
