'03 z no go
Well looks like the PCM is out AGAIN. The PCM failed on 8/23/'12 and it looks like the replacement failed.
Maybe something else went bad.
1. It was running good.
2. Shut it off and got out.
3. Came back, put something in the trunk.
4. Got in, security light flashed, installed key, seat travelled, turned key to on; no DIC display, turned key to start and nothing.
5. Got it towed to the Chevy dealer.
Maybe the ingnition switch is bad.
Maybe something else went bad.

Thanks 8v7, I always appriciate your advice and enjoy your posts.
I attempted to pull the codes, however the DIC was not functioning. The only display on the DIC was the odometer.
I do have another key, I'll make sure I take it with me and try it before I authorise any work.
Turning the key to on; the gauges does not cycle and CORVETTE BY CHEVROLET does not scroll across the DIC.
When I bought it in 2012 it had the same symptoms and Bert Ogden Chevrolet in McAllen, TX diagnosed and replaced the PCM. It's worked fine eversince.
I do have long tube headers, and I did have an issue that may have been ignition switch related several weeks ago. With the headlights on if I used the turn signals the enginge would shut off and the instrument panel and DIC went dark until I cycled the key, then it would crank up and go back to normal right away. It did not triger the CEL or enter a code.
I wonder if there's a waranty on the PCM.

The dealer tech finally diagnosed problem. The ipc fuse block is damaged, replacement is not available, will bypass and ad a fusible link.
Any thoughts?
