What did you pay for the Transgo Shift Kit Installation?
The posts I've read indicate it's pita to install so I'm concerned about the installation cost. Any other options I should have done at the same time? I'll be installing a SY3500 (sitting in garage), 3.42 gears (looking) and TTS Powerloader II programing (waiting for upgrade) soon.
Any So CA experienced installer recommendations would be appreciated.
Skull, I did my own but would not recommend it. Try Westcoast Corvettes. They have installed a lot of them. I think the price is close to $200.
Orange County you know. MikeV
Hey MagRedSkull, I, too, amd having the same mods done to my Torch Red machine next week, includig the TransGo and POwerloader. I will let you know what I think and you do the same for me. Good Luck.
vstella, yes I'm concerned about the length of time it will take for Steve Cole to update my Powerloader II.
You should be! Unfortunately , Steve Cole has reprogram jobs at the END of his list. If I were you I would'nt do ANYTHING until you have the PLII in your hands. His promises are BS..!! Or if you want to spen the money and go with Ed Wright programming www.fastchip.com and consider it a lesson learned the hard way. It's unfortunate ..but this is the way it is with TTS.. :yesnod:
vstella, you're right. I may have to bite the bullet and spend the extra money for Ed Wright programming if I get too impatient. I only dropped the Powerloader II at the TTS offices in Compton last Wed. (8/7/02), during my lunch break. I'm afraid I may be in for a Loooong wait!
