Thanks To All That, may be able to HELP ME THANKS MR. MARION WRIGHT or sargentat44711 or sargentat44711@yahoo.com 2002 auto. with T handle shifter ?
The reverse lights switch is at the transmission. Probably the switch but first make sure your bulbs are good.
If you want the information on how to jumper the switch to see if the lights works let me know. That would tell you if the switch is the problem or something else.

Correct. The Park/Neutral Safety switch and the B/U light feed comes from that transmission switch at connector C146. The switch does a couple of other things too.
I would not have known that except worked with a guy on his switch 2 weeks ago as result of a no crank issue.

I have know ideal where con. # 146 is and I replaced the breaker in slot 38 under hood! neutral and reverse switch is in console for a Auto Trans. right?
No, like I said, it is at the tranny on the driver side where the shift cable ends. The shift cable activates all the switches there in that one unit.
C146 wiring connector plugs into it. You can unplug it and jumper the reverse switch wires and see if you get B/U lights. Just need the ignition ON (car not running).
I can provide the info to do this if you or a friend want to try.
I just helped a friend replace one a couple of weeks ago. If you want to talk with him let me know.

No!
1. He knows you have an automatic
2. The switch that controls the backup lights is NOT located in the console.
3. I agree with dadaroo as to the likely source of your problem of "no B/U lights"?
Look at NUMBER 1 in this picture, it is the Neutral Safety Switch AND the Backup Light Switch:

Did you check the fuse anytime during the troubleshooting. There's a separate fuse for the b/u lights and the approach lights.
