Default Diff Intakes systems for the C5

I have a 99 coupe. Currently is has a after market twin air intake. It came with the vette when I bought it. I found that the inside of the tube has started to rust and I can see where water has been sitting, so I have decided to change it out. I want to know what would be the BEST Air Intake system for my C5. I want the most bang for my buck.

Welcome to the forum!

The Donaldson Blackwing is very popular and so is the Vortex.
if you don't mind cutting the radiator shroud the Vortex should give the most "band for the buck".
The Blackwing is the next best alternative if cutting the shroud is out of the question.

There are many opinions on this. I see about 5 threads about it on this page. If you do a search, you'll find many more. Vararam and Vortex seem to be the best choices at the moment, but this will change by tomorrow. I'd steer clear of Halltech.
