I was hoping someone had some install pics of video, or anything to help.
I got my car on 4 24" jack stands and from top or bottom i can not get these bad boys in.
I tried looking all over the internet for some help, but its all the 1 3/4 kits which are different configuration than the 7/8"
I called it a night due to it getting too cold in the garage, but plan on hitting it hard tomorrow. Plan on getting some 4x4 wood or something to lift it up more to make more room, hoping i can get them in.
I got the car 24" off the car. Loosen the motor mounts and lifted from the side i was trying to put in. Its hitting the oil pan, bell housing and the under carriage of the car. The passenger side i have the whole starter off and hitting all the same as the driver side.
I did a mock install of both sides before having them ceramic-coated recently. I have the engine slightly lower due to .40" lower Hinson engine mounts along with the C6 oil adapter block which I had to change out with an IR block with braided lines for clearance of the driver's header. I got them to fit easily on both sides with these changes without lifting the engine or lowering the cradle and only removed the starter and spark plugs. I also have additional fuel lines on the driver side that I added due to an aux. fuel setup and those clear as well. I fit both headers in from below (I have a lift but you should still be OK) and I left the valve covers and alternator in place.
You do need to rotate and maneuver them for a while before finding the sweet spot where they slip in but, essentially, you tilt the collector down and in towards the center of the car to get them to go. Keep trying - they fit.
I did finally get them in, It was a b****. I got the driver side in from the bottom with the right movement. The passenger side i came from the top with valve cover off and starter off, i think that side was easier but still a pain. I also had the motor lifted on the side i was working on. Like the picture shows it only took 2 days to get the old off and just the new headers on. First night called it early due to the colder weather. The second day called it because LG forgot 2 clamps in my kit, bummer but its all good. They have some shipped as we speak. Thanks for the help tho. It was just a nerve wrecking few days, also with the car so high in the air. Just glad its still salty out and i got a secondary car.
Very unsafe to have those cinder blocks sideways & point load (legs of jack stands) on them that way
I'm ok with using cinder blocks, but lay them correctly & put wood on top to distribute the weight
One wrong giggle & those metal legs with crumble the blocks as they are now
Yes, I agree, be careful with the jack stands.
Also, I too have LG Longtube headers, curious to know on your C5 how much they hang below the chassis? I used a yard stick against the flat part of the chassis and mine hang about a good inch below.
Looks like a good job.

I sometimes question the safety of what I've done, but I've been using patio blocks for many years. At least they're solid, and as you mention, I put a piece of wood (2x10) on top of it, before I place a stand or wheel on it.
I also have several 50 pound, scale "test weights", I use as vehicle stands. They're strong and solid, but a little heavy...
I set them on their "sides", and they're very stable.
