My outside air temp sensor was giving the wroun temp so I replaced it, I have since had the connector replaced and it still dosnt work :cry the funnything is even though it is not correct it stays above 34 (which allows the AC to work) most of the time;however when its raining it then goes below that and no AC, something gettig wet i guess, can I bypass it without it defaulting to <34.
Re: Outside air sensor driving me nuts, HELP (Skeeter1)
Sounds like you've asked the question that no one knows poopie about. :nonod:
I'd jump in with an answer, but I don't know poopie about this part of the car either. :D
My display gets real dim, or goes out, and if I tap on it, it usually comes back to life. I found a new control unit for $517 and if I was to guess, you and I both need a new control head or HVAC mobule. I may bite the bullet some day and order one so I can see what my AC settings are. My HVAC still works fine, you just can't see what the settings in the readout.
