YES, your running LEAN which increases combustion chamber temps, really bad cases can MELT things like pistons. So figure out where the unmetered air is coming from. I'm betting on the blackwing not installed correctly!!
Where do you get "SPARKLE PLUGS", the tooth fairy?:crazy
I haven't changed the spark plugs, yet. However, the mechanic pulled one and stated, a little worn, but still in decent condition. As far as the possibility of the incorrect installation of the Blackwing, nope not the case.
Thanks for suggestions.

"If changing the sparkle plugs is not the answer, why would they make such a suggestion? Maybe they're fishing, perhaps?"
Ok, I took car back to the Corvette Specialist & had both knock sensors changed. Needless to say, pinging still an issue. I mentioned the fuel pressure to the specialist. He stated he check the fuel pressure and fuel pressure's ok. No vacuum leaks, etc.
Motor has been pinging for a couple of months... and so then you cleaned the MAF? or You cleaned the MAF a couple of months ago and then it started pinging?

As mentioned, I cleaned the MAF long before the longing and after it started.
