Re: HUD controls...does the PAGE button light up?? (Ram Air Tony)
Sweet. :D :D
Hey, quick question for you to answer after you get your dash put back together. I remember reading that the HUD requires a "special" windshield that reflects the image projected by the HUD back towards the driver at the correct reflection angle. Is this true or have I forgot that I've smoked some good stuff in the past? Either way, the HUD is sweet, I've realized lately how little I look at my analog gauges during normal driving. When I'm ripping around, I reference the analog tach because it's a lot easier to read that the stupid digital sweep tach, but other than that, it's all HUD.
Re: HUD controls...does the PAGE button light up?? (Godspeed)

QUIK.....the windshield isnt reqired for retro fit, but the true HUD windshield is different than non HUD.....GM has reflectivity contraints and it must pass them, but I have set in the car for many minutes just idling and it is CRYSTAL clear  .... so the stuff ya smoked, although good, didnt f*ck up your recolection Bro ;) ........ I happened to remember this morning while I was sitting waiting for the gate into the parking garage to open. All buttons were light up, I even turned off the lights to make sure. Let me go back intot he parkign garage and check it again.
