Default Intake advice for 382 stroker

Hey guys, I've been out of the vette scene for about 3 years now for personal reasons & my vette has been sitting in the garage with an engine problem since. I'm ready to get it back running & the car is at a local tuner shop now. I'm considering going with a more aggressive cam (current cam was chosen for 200 shot of nitrous 237/242-595/595-114 but nitrous has been removed) & maybe upgrade the intake manifold while it's in there. The 382 has all the bolt ons & fully ported LS1 heads. I would love to upgrade the heads but I'm not ready for that yet (maybe in the future). My question is; Is the FAST 90 intake worth the money vs an LS6 intake or not even worth spending the money on & what kind of power can I expect from each on my motor? Thanks!

I cannot offer a back to back, but when I did my stroker I just went with the fast 90. These days you would have the option of a 92 or 102. I do know that removing the MAF in the intake picked me up 10 rwhp.

Worth the money? Tough question. A well set up FAST that's been ported will give you from 13-30 more RWHP, depending on your head/cam/tuning combination. I bought mine used (90), and ported it myself, and I could really tell the difference. (NA) I later replaced it with a stock LS6 mani combo when I supercharged my car. A good FAST setup is almost as expensive as aftermarket heads, and the gains for a good head/cam combo are greater than what you get with the intake, so...

IMO, the best upgrade I did was the Brian Tooley Trickflow heads, (Total Engine Airflow at the time) but they became less important after supercharging.
