Harmonic Balancer Replacement
I have a 2000 C5 and the balancer is starting to wooble very slightly but I want to have it replaced so it doesnt do any damage. My question is I dont want to replace with GM parts as I would prob end up like this again, any suggestions on what after market part I should use ?

I def recommend the Summit racing underdrive harmonic damper if you need to replace your oem one. Its the most affordable underdrive pulley for a C5 and its top notch in quality. You will spend the same $$ on a OEM balancer and get no performance gain. Ive had 3 of these on 3 dif LS motored cars and all of them held up quality wise perfectly. Good investment,,plus you get the added benefit of 2 new belts that are required to install.

Just remember that the Summit C2501 is an 8 rib. It works perfectly for a 6 rib setup, you only use the first 6 ribs. I've been running one for 5 years supercharged and pinned as a 6 rib with no complaints. It is not an underdrive. Rod
