A4 Shifter Cable Replacement
I am replacing the shift cable on an 03, The new cable has a red cover over the neutral lock(?) where it attaches to the transmission. This was not on the original shift cable. Is this supposed to be removed after attaching the cable to the transmission shifter arm?
