C5 Z06 with intake, header, exhaust, and tune making 393whp. Stock clutch is crap. Pedal sticks like a mother and cant make passes at the drag strip. Looking into a new clutch. Should I be looking at the Mcleod twin disc or just go ahead with an LS7 clutch upgrade with Aluminum flywheel. Not sure if the twin disc is overkill. I want a clutch that aint gonna crap on me. I use my car as a daily and visit the local drag strip once a month and make at least 5 passes a night. I need this soon. Please help. THANKS.

The LS7 is OK for cars that are close to stock and only see normal street driving.
As far as a twin disc clutch goes, typically you can get the best of both worlds. They usually have the hold capacity of a aggressive single but they are easier to drive.
Having said that keep in mind that racing a McLeod will void its warranty.
If you haven't looked at the Monster LT1-S street twin, check it out http://monsterclutches.com/c5-corvet...reet-c5-clutch . It will drive like stock, can take the abuse of the track and it comes with a one year warranty regardless of how you drive it. As always give us a call or shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
I installed a Centerforce DYAD in my C5 last year that I had purchased from LG. It only occasionally chatters on engagement and for the capacity they claim it will hold, it's not bad to drive on the street. The engagement is fairly abrupt, but easy to get used to.
