Driving Experience with Weighted Shift ****

I have a C6 Z06 short throw shifter on with a RPM level IV Trans in my 01 C5. I would like to "invest" in replacing the standard shifter **** with a weighted Gear **** from TWM Performance.

Does anyone have an knowledge and/or experience with this. They are a bit pricey and don't want to waste my $$. I can't even find a deal or get a used one.
