My daytime/turn signal plug was fried from getting wet. I bought 2 new socket plugs. I forgot to disconnect the battery. i know stupid...
I did the driver side plug no problem. as i do the passenger side i cut the old plug and accidentally arched the wires and shorted out the lights.
NOW..
My fog lights/tail lights and interior dash lights are not working.. i searched and found it was the MULTISWITCH. Just when and bought a new one from GM. Still the same problem.. PLEASE HELP Thanks, Joey

Did you check fuses - not sure which circuit you shorted. Fuses are listed in Chapter 6 of the Owners Manual. (Trying to help - not meant as criticism .
This sounds like you need a talk with dadaroo... you might have caused yourself some serious issues and before I touched anything else or change anything else or looked at anything else>>> I would contact dadaroo and make DAMN sure I knew what steps I needed to take to figure out what has happened for sure....PLEASE......... listen to this advise and get his help.
Can't agree more about fuses. Tell us what fuses you check and we'll see if you got them all. Not at home with my schematics and info. Fuses should have protected you from any serious issues.
Fixed. It was a fuse. #6 in the interior fuse box. I don't know how I missed it the first time.
Oh well now I bought myself a new multi switch I'll just consider it maintenance lol. Thanks for the help guys .
