My memory seat has given me fits on and off, for years, usually with memory loss. Reprogramming the memory used to work. Now, if the memory seat function is on, it all works properly, except for vertical travel. When the key goes in, the seat moves forward, the wheel comes out, but the seat doesn't raise vertically, as it should, on its own. I have to manually raise the seat. It turned out to be easier leaving the memory function off. However, even with the function off, now, the seat frequently moves, usually downward, when the key goes in. I then have to manually adjust, anyway. Giving me fits! Any ideas?

Re: '99 Memory seat trouble (Hoonose)
Funny but the only time this function is useful on my vette is when my wife drives. My seat position is the exact same as the one the memory feature puts the seat to exit the car. But as far as I know it's worked properly since day one.
