Default Dash went crazy with alerts

So I was driving my 2000 this morning when all of a sudden the radio shut off. And the dash started chiming alerts. Service engine soon, reduced engine power, low tire pressure.

I pulled over to check the tires. All looked good. Started the car and it seems fine. A block down the road it happens again. Except now my fuel guage reads empty. Get the car home okay and my passenger window won't go up anymore.

Long list of codes. All start with U and end with H.

10 PCM U1626

28 TCS 1301, 1016

40 BCM 1255, 1016, 1096

58 SDM 1301

60 IPC 1255, 1016, 1040, 1064, 1160, 1176,1088

80 Radio 1016, 1064, 1096

99 HVAC 1255, 1064, 1160, 1096

A0 LDCM 2252, 2262, 1064, 1016

A1 RDCM No Comm

A6 SCM 1255, 1300

B0 RFA 1016, 1255, 1064, 1096

I just rolled past 47k miles, owned the car 2 months with no problems until today. I think I'll try a new battery first. The one in there is 4-5 years old.

Does this sound like an EBCM issue ? Weird coincidence the window died. Voltage surge ? Any help is appreciated.

Did you check battery voltage? Connections?

It's been sitting almost an hour. Per my radar detector, the standing voltage is 12.5v

That's a bit low isn't it ? The connections on the battery were tight. Everything looks ok. No leaking or corrosion.

edit, I guess I should get it load tested.

Bad connection in the connector pictured is the most likely cause....

This is exactly right. You have the symptoms of a bad ground to the BCM.

Success!

One of the female receptacles on the passenger door molex connector thing was bad.
I took a small allen wrench and pushed down on it enough so it gets a bite on the pin. Window works again and no codes thrown on my test drive.

I'm lucky to have this forum as a resource.
