Default C5 IAT sensor wiring

Can someone please tell me what color the wires are for the IAT sensor? Mine got brittle and broke from exhaust heat, among other wires, and I need to verify since the sensor itself was removed and some other stuff happened during my turbo setup. If you can provide a picture as well, that would be excellent! I don't know if it changed at any point during C5 production, but this would be on an '01 MT.

Thanks!

I believe this is the colors they are. Not sure about the regular C5 in 2001, but my Z06 has the IAT built into the 5 wire MAF.

Interesting! I thought it was a completely separate sensor. If that's the case, that would make this a lot simpler to put back together as I am no longer running a MAF, and have a separate sensor installed.

I believe 97-00 was a separate sensor and 01-04 is built into the maf... I also removed my maf and just cut the plug off and hid the wires in my harness so they aren't seen and extended the iat wires for my new sensor

That is correct, it is in the MAF in 2001. The Tan wire is the signal and the Purple is the low reference.

Do you need the schematic for the correct pin outs at both ends of the harness?

Fantastic, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much.

Thank you to you as well! If you can get me the correct pin out for the sensor side, that would be excellent since I am using a sensor off of a different application, and therefore different plug.

not sure if it matters or will help in your application but when I installed an iat in my charge pipe the new sensor had 2 black wires and the polarity didn't matter, I just had to solder those into the purple/tan wires in my maf sensor harness
