Squeak in steering wheel
My 03Z has developed a squeak or slight rubbing sound in the steering wheel when you turn it. You can feel a slight vibration in the steering wheel itself when turning from side to side. It seems to squeak at only one point. Everything seems tight with no play at all. I squirted some silicone between the wheel and the housing but nothing changes. Anyone have any ideas

Check the level in the power steering fluid reservoir. Mine also rubbed or squeaked and I lubed everything I could reach and after I discovered the reservoir was low and added more fluid up to the proper level, that noise on turning the wheel disappeared and has been gone ever since.

I did that too from info found on here, but it didn't work for me. I thought you already tried that too and that's why I offered another solution. Glad you got it fixed - it's kind of annoying.
