C5 Engine Noise
I purchased a new 2002 convertible last fall. Right after delivery I noticed a clicking noise coming from the engine. Soundes like a lifter. I have been told by the dealer its a piston slapping noise and its inherent to the engine design. The dealer said there is no fix. Anyone encounter this problem?

My 02 Coupe has the noise. I was told it was normal. After making the switch to Royal Purple the noise became less evident.
