Help-Wierd Engine Sound Under Hard Acceleration

Help-Wierd Engine Sound Under Hard Acceleration
I have a 2001 6-speed and noticed over the weekend when I put the petal to the metal there is a fluttering sound coming from the engine at about 3,500-4,500 rpms. The oil level is fine. Any idea on what this could be?
BTW, about 1,000 miles ago I added a Blackwing intake. Could this be a cause?
My wifes '98 Jeep Grand Cherokee had a similar noise and it ws a leaking intake manifold gasket.

Time to dyno the car to see what is going on with the Engine as well as looking to see what is happening under the hood at that RPM under a load.

Thanks guys. Good idea to check to make sure the air bridge is on tight. I probably should have the car dynoed.

Do you know what pinging or knock sounds like? The "fluttering" you describe sounds like you are getting some KR...
