hydraulic clutch pedal

The hydraulic clutch pedal on my 2001 c5 6 speed corvette does not maintain pressure and does not allow for the ability to shift / unless I pump the pedal several times - I already tried replacing the clutch fluid several times until the reservoir fluid was clear - what should I try next?

Sounds more like the clutch master cylinder. Pray it's the master cylinder.

Was there any clutch fluid underneath the bell housing?

I'd vote Mc as well. The piston seal can rupture and you never get a eak, it bypasses back to the reservoir, so you don't get enough pressure ad flow to fully actuate the slave
