Electrochromic mirror
Is it on, when the green light is on? They don't seem to dim headlights all too well.
Does anyone else have this problem?
All the vanity lights work just fine.

Compare to how the passenger side mirror looks when it's dark out and you have headlights behind you......if you don't see a difference under these conditions, then something is probably wrong. Without comparing to the passenger side mirror, it can be hard to tell whether the other two mirrors are working or not....

Bob: Thanks! That seems pretty intuitive and I thought as much. It just didn't seem to dim as much as on the S500.

Your S500 isn't as low as the C5 is. Those last couple inches make a HUGE difference in how much light hits the mirror. :yesnod:
