I have some DRM brake ducts that probably date back to 2000. They've worn through by tire rub. Before I buy a new set, just wondering if they've made any changes since then. My outlet is 3.5".
How are the LG G2 spindle ducts? Should I go with those or another brand?
What tire/wheel size are you running, and where did they rub through? Asking as I am about to install a set of the DRM ducts myself, and like to see if any if mods could be made to prevent rubbing.
Assume you are talking about the hose as opposed to duct(s) themselves? Pics would be greatly appreciated!
Interested as well, my car has DRM ducts, and we think LG spindle ducts. I bought the car from a friend.
He had 305 or 315 Hoosiers on factory C5Z rears, and I'm running the same wheels with 315/30 BFG Rivals. The ducts had some rub marks but nothing bad. I could see them wearing through over years of use. I have not noticed any rubbing on a few hundred miles of street use. It does have poly bushings through out.
The ducts themselves wore through where they get screwd in. I'm running C6 Z06 reproduction wheels in C5 offset with 275/35R18. It would be a PITA but I might just put them on when only going to the track.
