Headlight problem, anyone else?

Headlight problem, anyone else?
My friend just bougt a 00 coupe. He doesn't realy like the twilight feature so he turned it off. Now it appears that when the lights go off, only one goes down, or they don't seem to be working in sequence with each other? Any suggestions?

The only problem I have heard (and experienced) is the motor making a grinding sound on the way down. The sound lasts for 15 secs or so after the lights go down. Only fix is to replace the window motor. Got mine done under warranty.

The problem that I have is both headlights flip up when in the parking light position....and my left headlight motor runs on for a few seconds after they flip down when turning off the lights. I need to take the car into the dealer and see what they can do to fix.
