Default A different oil pressure sensor question

Had this car for approx a year. Now has 27k miles. 2002

The ops would show a steady 38 to 40 after warm.

Now it shows approx 8 to 10 more... Running 46 to 50 on the gauge. All the time.

Nothing has changed on the car.

Any ideas ? Ops going bad or something else ?

Thanks

Are you saying you haven't changed the oil or filter in that year?

The oil was changed at 24k. Approx 3k on this oil change. The cars mileage was 23540 when I bought it.

Did not happen after the oil change. Just out of the blue when I started the car one day. Well after the oil change.
