I tried to roll down the passenger window last night and nothing happened. I did notice that the headlights dimmed when I pushed the button down. I tried from both driver and passenger side switch and got the same thing. I believe the motor must be locked up, and I didn't hold it long enough to pop a fuse or relay. I was just looking for some insight on what you guys think. It did work last weekend just fine. I did read on some of the forms that the brushes stick sometimes and to slam the door while holding the button...however I would like to fix it the right way and not just beat on it until it works. Any insight before tearing the door panel off would be appreciated.

Don't credit me... all I did was copy and paste someone else's thread that had good solutions to help other forum members fix their C5's...
Guys like Bill Curlee, dadaroo, 8vette7, and a long list of other very bright guys are the ones that deserve the credit...
I have had this happen when I don't use the window in months. Slamming the door real good while holding the window down button fixes it for another few months.
