Car overheating
So i was putting in freon in my car today after i gave it a wash and right after i started noticing a funny electrical burning smell from under the hood while driving. My check engine light came on and my motor temp started rising with the AC on. I am getting code p0480 and i doing believe my drivers side fan to be working as it is impossible to see with everything blocking it. I have done some searching but i am no electric expert and cannot read electrical diagrams can someone give me a dumb down version of what i should do. Thanks

Here is a link on the code. It does not discuss an actual fan issue. If it were me I would disconnect the fan in question and jumper 12 volts across the connector pins and see if it runs ok.
