I have a 98 vette that was rebuilt by Lingenfelter in 99. It was a LS1 and was redone to a 383 Stroker. I have the original dyno sheet showing 460hp and about 460 torque. I don't know if this was done with the engine in or out of the car. If it's dynoed out of the car does it lose hp and torque when installed. It has upgrade trans and 3:42 rear end. I'm getting ready ready to have it dyno tuned and am curious what to expect.

A 383 built by Lingenfelter would more than likely make that power at the rear wheels

Default 383 stroker

thank you very much for your reply it was something I was really curious about I was thinking about putting a power module chip in there and I've seen on the forum that a dyno tune would probably be better

You can't chip that motor. Good luck with the dyno tuner Lingenfelter used to lock there tunes.
