I've had the side bolster on my seat break 5 times already. I've recently swapped the seat covers and cushions from a sport seat onto my standard/Z06 seat. So far I am having no problems. The cushions do seem to be a little different, I am not sure why it would make a difference.

I have been searching for an aftermarket seat for my vette since I got it 3 years ago. So far, there are no seats that I have found that fit into the C5 and fit me. I am 6 feet tall and weigh about 280 lbs. I can fit into a Sparco EVO-2 racing seat but they do not fit into the car well if you still want to use the stock seat beats.

Cello claims in his sig to have a 97 383 Super Stroker. and that he is 4' 9" and 310lbs...

I am not going to make any nasty comments, but having been a member for 2 days with 4 posts I am a bit concerned that this may not be a completely valid post.

Cello if you are real. And that wasn't a mis-print, then you have more to worry about than your seat ripping.

You could always rip the drivers seat out and fill the hole with beanbags (Rat's Idea) until it's level with the back cargo area. Then have handicap hand controls installed and just lay down and drive. ......... This should work just fine unless you gain another 100 lbs. at that point you're on your own....... No wait we could saw the top off and strap you down with cargo straps..... Yea that's the ticket: eek:

I had a Smart post at first... then I edited it... Now after reading all of yours and having Cello not respond... I am wondering if this was real... I Mean In reality... how is a guy that is built like that going to actually fit in a C5? What the Heck can you buy that will fit a build like that?

If this is true and you are not kidding. Please respond to this thread and we will actually help you out in any way we can... If you were joking with us... let us know that too... because I have much to add to this thread if that is the case... ;)
