I pray a lot. I bought a 04 vert in 9-2014 and so far only a rear axel seal leaking problem has been my issue. I am a little parinoid on all the issues involving the C5 especially since I do not have the skills to do it myself. But, I drop the top and the parinoid feelings go away. Enjoy the car.

The first day the column lock ??? (how I found this site) checked the car for many problems this winter finding none. This first day out this spring my outside temp sender was reading 39 below, 15.00 dollars fixed that. The rocking seat not a issue cause I have it all the way back and reclined. Yesterday my heater Ac control went dim, I know the fix for that, hoping I'm good the rest of summer. Not holding my breath, but really for a 15 year old car ////// well I like working on it also !!!! I have had the car for one year and a month !!!

Yes, I've fixed or replaced about every part of my car. Those that I haven't worked on need worked on. There were a few times I considered setting it on fire and just watching it burn. I'm pretty sure I've got you beat for number of things that broke. Iirc, I had >50 invoices for the car in my first 30 days. I'm now considering sticking in a new motor, swapping the auto for a manual, just generally wasting more money. The car is pretty nice, but like most people who go though what I have, I'm about ready to jack up the license plate and drive a new one under it.
