Since I am a new member I'm still trying to get info. I had my mind made up to go with the vortex rammer. the Pro Flow looks like the same principle but is 200$ cheaper. I'm going to go with one of these intakes and a nitrous system. I am going to let Ernie at Breathless or Mike Norris in Orlando do the install, have not decided. Any info would be appr.
Had a Proflow+ since '99 and it's been great. The Vortex is almost identical with a slightly different shape filter and cover box. Believe both deliver the same HP gains.
Hope this helps.

The Proflow and Vortex are very similar designs that should perform about the same. Not sure where your getting the $200 difference from, they are the same cost though $200-240. I bought the Vortex over the Proflow b/c more people seemed to run it, so it would be easier to get help if would have ran into problems with the install.... and b/c the filter had a velocity stack in it. Most people don't see the velocity stack as very important, but going back to my jet-ski days, they were.
Another vote for the Pro Flow and to most folks, it almost looks stock. Made a good increase of pushing you back in the seat. It was my first mod. :yesnod: :yesnod:
My mistake I was pricing the Vortev Ram Induction Box from Breathless and with Vortex Power Duct, which is 507$. It seems that I can get the same power with the ProFlow+ for less. Thanks for all the help. It's great to be able to get all this help from people that own vettes. You know that there is no BS. THANKS AGAIN!
