Making progress -- the engine is back together

The engine (422) is completely built. Looks great. The sleeved cylinders are amazing. On a stock engine there is about a 1/4 inch of engine block betweek the sleeves. On a 422 there is nothing -- I mean nothing -- the sleeves but up against each other.
The biggest problem (at least recently) has been the pulley system. Just finding the right belt was one challenge. Now Mike needs a different tensioner that should come in tomorrow.
Transmission is back together and waiting for the engine to be in the car and will then go in. It's the FLP level IV with the Breathless output shafts.
Oh, and the A pillar pod is installed. It's really the only thing that keeps the car from being completely stealth. Might consider another location later, but it looks great.
Sure does look sweet.
I've posted a bunch of pics on my site. The link takes you to thumbnails and you can click for a little bit bigger pic or the giant pic. The giant ones are 4 megapixels (500-600k) so be prepared as they are huge. The little bigger are pretty small.

Mike's promised it to me tomorrow afternoon
(OK, Mike, I know you really promised it Monday or Tuesday :):):):))

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I pulled my heads & cams and found a broken pushrod, so I pulled the engine out the top also. Without the heads on it was not too difficult picking it out.
My concern is with it all together going back in.
did you drop the sub-frame any? it was a tight squeeze to get the oil pan over the sub-frame on the way out.
I'm sure you will be thrilled with the final product ...Keep us posted !
Great Project
